This countryside onsen hotel has a unique hot spring that is supposedly plant, based. Visitors can experience the hot air balloon festival twice a year and enjoy snow play, foot and hand onsens, and other activities. the ryokan, style rooms feature well, maintained amenities including a small flat, screen TV, refrigerator. They provide fluffy futons laid out on tatami mats, added comfort, and authentic Japanese experience. the hotel's relaxing onsen spawater is plant, based and has a gentle effect on the skin.
Some literature and signages are not available in English, possibly causing miscommunication or confusion for international guests.

We had a fantastic stay at this traditional Japanese hotel in a small town by a river. The location was perfect for a peaceful getaway, away from bustling city life. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with beautiful silk cushions and futons laid out for a good night's sleep. The hot spring spa was a highlight, with natural spring water that left our skin feeling soft and smooth. The hotel also had a shop selling delicious local snacks and a 24-hour convenience store nearby.
More English signage would have been helpful for better understanding the food and beauty products in the spa area.

During my recent stay at a charming onsen hotel by the beautiful Tokachi River, I was pleasantly surprised by the above-average baths. The hotel's 60th-anniversary celebration added to its allure, despite the absence of information about the morning hot air balloon opportunity. The dinner selection was above average, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.

The hotel I stayed in during my business trip had great complimentary amenities such as free hot milk and foot and hand onsens. It was also located close to a winter festival which made it easy to attend. The hotel's location had great views of the surrounding area which I enjoyed.
The hotel rooms were quite small and outdated which took away from the overall experience. The meals included in the package were okay but nothing special.

Great hot spring spa, natural spring water is plant based and excellent for the skin. Beautiful view of the surroundings from the hotel's wide windows.
The hotel appeared old and needed maintenance. The rooms were not comfortable and had a musky smell.
